Hi all! You have one day left of this weekend, and I do not know how you plan on spending the rest of the day, but I plan on listening to the last ARC that releases Tuesday and sharing it with you tomorrow. It is supposed to be a cool fall day with a bit of rain here today, so it is perfect to curl up with a puzzle book. In my puzzle book I am currently working to find out who the killer is, and it is not Alice, and ill be listening to the audiobook.

Today I am sharing with you the beginning of the Brothers of Sin series, Dangerous Haven by Luna Pierce. I got this one from the fine people at NetGalley, in addition to Keeperton Audiobooks and Luna Pierce. Thanks for giving me a copy to review so I can share my thoughts with you all. As always, all opinions are my own.

When London Gardella gets beaten to a pulp by her own father, with the help of Silver, she gets out of town. She has a list of injuries, so the journey is not easy, and all she has is some cash and a slip of paper with a name and address across the country. Even though her father was killed and his assets were frozen by the feds, he made a deal to give her to another man who is in charge with of his own list of dirty deeds. She was promised who ever this name is will help her and keep her safe.

When London shows up on Archer’s doorstep, he knows nothing about her. The reclusive billionaire hacker does not want or need the distraction that is London. But he owes Silver, so when he talks to him, he promises to watch over London and keep her safe. Of course, Archer does this in his own stalker way by hacking into every camera and planting trackers on her. He gives London two rules: no touching his computer and no falling in love with him.

But when London starts building a life by finding a friend, going on dates, and moving on with her life, Archer cannot help but stalk her every move and sometimes show up to pull her out of the meetings. Can these two learn to trust each other again, or will the burning desire that is sparking between Archer and London go up in flames?

This audiobook is so awesome. M.K. Blackwood and Kayden Lukakis did a great job voicing London and Archer, along with the other Sin brothers and sister. This is only book one in the series, so I hope that they come back and continue to voice the siblings they started with in this book because I would love to hear their voices again.

Kayden Lukakis especially did a wonderful job bringing the grumpy, protective Archer to life. While both were fantastic, he went a step beyond with the number of characters he had and the personality he brought to each one.

I really loved that this book had an excellent backstory for each character, and they stayed true to who they were throughout the entire story. I think putting the story in NYC was the perfect choice. I dislike when we are supposed to believe that someone is meant to disappear in a place with less population. With so many people, it would be easier to hide in a place like NYC. It also made it more believable that a skilled hacker could break into traffic cameras, security cameras, and public Wi-Fi to follow someone from location to location.

This series is going to be interconnected, so while this book contains Archer and London’s story, we do learn a little about the Sin family as a whole. I hope that we learn more about the family unit as the story progresses in the next book, as well as get to see Archer and London again.

Dangerous Haven releases in paperback Tuesday, with sprayed edges featuring a quote from the book: “You were made for me, little tornado.” You better believe I ran to preorder this book as soon as I finished the audiobook so I can have my shelf trophy and see what bonus content is included with this edition. Make sure to grab yours from your favorite retailer. You will not be disappointed.

Archer’s brother Leo’s story, Twisted Enemy, comes out March 2, 2027, and I made sure to preorder that one as well.
