Hello to all my book friends! I’m a 40-something-year-old originally from Cleveland, Ohio, with a lifelong passion for reading. My childhood was filled with fairy tales, the Babysitters Club, and choose-your-own-adventure storybooks. Whenever my family went on summer vacations to the beach, you would find me happily engrossed in a book. Who needs to swim?

After high school, I moved around frequently. My travels took me to Texas, North Dakota, Germany, and Oklahoma. During this time, I dabbled in reading magazines and books. I started with chick-lit and gradually delved into romance, fiction, fantasy, and mystery genres. Harry Potter, recommended by my youngest sister, opened up a new world of Young Adult novels for me and living in Germany led me to love historical settings in books.

Eventually, I made my way to the serene landscape of Cape Cod. The beautiful beaches reminded me of my youthful days reading by the ocean while on family vacations, and it kindled my passion for audiobooks, allowing me to engage in other hobbies while enjoying a good story.

While I have a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, I’m currently not working in the field, choosing instead to spend my days reading and volunteering in my community. I’m excited to share my bookish adventures and recommendations with you all.
