Book Review: Lady Love by Emma Hart

Lady Love is a British romance with moments that will leave you laughing. It’s a quick read (or in my case listen) and the enemies to lovers trope. Lady Love is Lady Hastings blog where she gives advice like dear Abby. Gabby is secretly going to school about gardening and never met a plant she didn’t like. She could talk plants all day, much to the annoyance of the gardener, Miles Kingsley. Miles thinks that lady hastings is too good for him as he’s the estates’ gardener and she’s the lady of the house.. When a storm leaves them in close quarters together maybe they can find more in common.

I really liked the quick easy read, and Miles and Gabbys story. I also enjoyed how everyone could see that they really liked each other except for themselves.

The only thing I disliked about the book was that I wish the characters had more depth. Their love felt very much surface level and not a deep love.

If you are looking for a fun quick read or listen I recommend Lady Love. There are moments that will leave you laughing. This wasn’t a spicy book. But, If you’re looking for a classic enemies to lovers romance, this is the book for you.
