Hello friends! I just finished the audiobook for the Novella Room for Two by Lana Ferguson, and I have to say, this is one of those adorable, feel-good novellas that’s perfect when you need a romance fix in just a couple of hours. With Samantha Summers and Teddy Hamilton narrating, you know the performances are top notch. They bring Cade and Nora to life with just the right mix of sweetness and spark.

This story delivers a simple set up, but it’s so charming: Cade and Nora have been quietly pining for each other for ages, both thinking their crush is totally one-sided. When their meddling friends orchestrate a truly messy, cutesy miscommunication, everything is set up for maximum cuteness and a pinch of chaos. Cade thinks he’s interviewing Nora as a potential roommate, but Nora walks in thinking it’s finally their first date! The result? Awkward, giddy, and adorably hilarious.

What I loved most is how both of these characters are so easy to root for. Cade is shy and sweet, and you can feel how much he cares every time he remembers the little details about Nora. Nora, meanwhile, is quirky and full of heart and just as smitten with Cade, even if she’s not sure how to say it. The mutual pining is real, and seeing them stumble their way through the mix-up makes you want to cheer them on every step of the way.

Add some fun side characters and friends pushing them together, and you’ve got a story that feels cozy and full of laughter. The romance is spicy in all the right ways, but never loses the cutesy, flirty energy that defines the novella.

If you love a quick snack-sized romance with top notch audio performances, mutual pining, and the kind of couple you just know is going to make each other happy, Room for Two is a must-listen. It’s the perfect break between longer reads, and the narration really makes the characters shine.
