Book Review: The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain by Hannah Brown

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 stars)

Hello friends! I just recently finished The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain by Hannah Brown. It is a fun and heartfelt listen that surprised me in the best way. Even though this is book two in the series, you can jump right in without reading the first one. This was my first book by Hannah Brown, but it definitely won’t be my last.

Like the title suggests, The story follows Sybil, who finds herself on what should have been her honeymoon, only she’s alone and reflecting on her past. She shares the stories behind her four engagement rings, each one coming with its own set of laughs, lessons, and a little bit of heartbreak. Things get even more interesting when Sybil runs into two of her ex-fiancés on her trip. I loved the drama and awkward moments, and it kept me guessing if she was really over them or if there was still something there.

Sybil is super relatable and a funny narrator. I really enjoyed how honest she was about the mistakes she made along the way and her hopes and dreams. Her journey made me think about how life doesn’t always go as planned, but sometimes that’s what helps you figure out what you truly want. The audiobook brought her story to life and made it easy to connect with her feelings and choices.

Overall, this book is a great pick if you like stories about love, second chances, and finding yourself. It’s light, entertaining, and has just the right amount of heart. I’m glad I gave it a try and can’t wait to see what Hannah Brown writes next.

The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain is a book you won’t be able to put down, so grab those earbuds and listen to this great story that blends humor, real-life messiness, and a dash of romance. In all, this book gets four stars from me, my friends! If you’re looking for a story that will make you laugh and root for the main character, give this one a try when it’s released on June 24th, 2025.
