Book Review: Damaged Goods by L.J. Shen

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Series: All Saints High Book 4

Hello friends! Who’s ready for a final dive into the last book in the All Saints High series? I know I am! This time I have “Damaged Goods,” which is the final installment in the series by the incredible L.J. Shen and was the book from my Probably Smut unboxing for February. So, buckle up my friends and get ready for a rollercoaster ride of emotions because this book is one wild ride!

First things first, I’m giving “Damaged Goods” a solid 4 stars, and let me tell you, it’s a read you won’t soon forget. If you’ve been following along with the series, you’ll know that it’s packed with drama, romance, and all the feels and this book is no exception.

In “Damaged Goods,” we catch up with Lev Cole, who’s still reeling from the loss of his mother. But he’s all grown up now, and let me tell you, he’s got some issues of abandonment to wrestle with. On the flip side, we’ve got Bailey Followhill, the picture-perfect daughter who’s struggling to keep up appearances. She may look flawless on the outside, but on the inside, she’s battling her own set of insecurities and doubts.

Now, let’s talk about the hate this book has been getting from the Dean and Rosie lovers out there. Look, I get it you don’t think Levs dad, Dean, would be moving on from the early death of his wife. But here’s the thing: you’ve gotta read the book for yourself and form your own opinions. Trust me, some reviewers clearly haven’t given it a read, and you don’t want to miss out on all the juicy details of his son Lev and Bailey’s story just because of a little controversy.

Back to ’s story friends, get ready for some serious drama. We’ve got Bailey, whose perfect façade is starting to crack, and Lev, who’s been playing by everyone else’s rules. Together, they’re about to embark on a journey of self-discovery and redemption that’ll have you glued to the pages from start to finish.

Bailey has been under some massive self-pressure to be perfect. Her body needs a rest but instead of giving it the rest she needs Bailey has been taking painkillers to get through her dance school pressures. She has it all under control- or so she tells herself. Until she OD’s. Can she get the help she needs?

Don’t worry, folks, it’s not all doom and gloom. “Damaged Goods” is also packed with plenty of heartwarming moments and swoon-worthy romance. Plus, with Shen at the helm, you know you’re in for some seriously addictive storytelling.

So, my fellow book lovers, I hope you enjoyed my review for not only “Damaged Goods” but the whole All Saints High series. I’m sure you have decided this is the book for you so pick up the series from your favorite bookseller. This series is sure to hit you right in the heart. So grab your favorite snacks, cozy up in your favorite reading spot, and get ready to lose yourself in the captivating world of All Saints High. Happy reading my friends!
