After a significant mistake in the middle of a case, lawyer Catherine Jones is sent by her boss to his weekend property. After trying to relax as she was told, Cat, while on the deck over the lake contemplating why she can’t relax, sees a beautiful naked man swimming in the lake. Only for him to notice her and she falls to the ground to avoid them cutting her hand in the process.

Noticing that someone is spying on him from the cranky neighbor’s home gets Jake mad. He is so mad that he decides to get dressed in the first thing he has and goes over to give his neighbor a piece of his mind. Only it wasn’t his cranky neighbor it was the beautiful Cat who is bleeding from her temporary bandage. Jake can’t leave her like this and drives her to urgent care.

Cat knows she should stay away from Jake as her boss tells her to keep an eye on him as he is suing the neighbor but she just can’t stay away. Can she work to get Jake and her Boss to some agreement and maybe find love for herself?

I had a bit of a hard time getting into this story. I wanted to more of a reason for the feud between Jake and the Boss. I wanted more for Cat’s back story. This story just left me wanting more. I don’t hate it, I just didn’t love it either.
